PIDA Member - Executive Conferences*

The PIDA Executive Conferences bring manufacturers and distributors together for concentrated, one-on-one appointments. Use this time strategically to discuss your business relationship with trading partners, new marketing initiatives and goals, and results of your Performance Benchmarking report card.


  • A total of 26, 15-minute conferences are available spanning 6 ½ hours over two days.
  • Distributors will be provided with private, draped booths in which to host their conferences.
  • Manufacturers are expected to reach out to distributors to schedule appointments.
  • Refer to the Appointment Scheduler for times and tips.


  • Schedule Early - distributors' schedules fill up quickly
  • Be Flexible - If more time is needed, you can request double sessions
  • Be Prepared - Prepare an agenda in advance and share it with your distributor
  • Use Time Strategically - These are NOT sales or social calls
  • Know Your Audience - These are top-to-top meetings with executive leadership - don't bring products, but use this time to discuss goals and strategies

The Executive Conference program is for members of the Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA),and only those companies in good membership standing with PIDA are eligible to participate. This membership requirement applies to Manufacturers and Manufacturer Rep Firms as well as Distributors.  If you are not a member and would like to participate in this portion of the Summit program, contact PIDA at [email protected] or visit www.pida.org for membership information.
